
Smart Commute invites you to gear up for Bike Month in June! Bike Month is a celebration of all things cycling and the perfect time to get active outside by bike. There are many cycling routes throughout your community to help you get to your destination whether it's for work or recreation.
Smart Commute Bike Month Contest
Log cycling trips for a chance to WIN a $100 e-gift card!
How to participate:
- Log your bike trips on SmartCommute.ca for a chance to win a $100 e-gift card.
- Bike trips taken between June 1 to June 30, 2026 are eligible, and must be logged by 11:59pm EST on July 7 to qualify for the prize draw.
- Each one-way bike trip counts as one (1) entry to the random prize draw.
- Up to two (2) bike trips per day are eligible for the contest.
- New account registration counts as one (1) entry to the random prize draw.
- A prize draw will be held in July or August. You will be notified if you have won through your registered Smart Commute account email address. Please ensure that your account email address is typed correctly and that you can be contacted.
- Please review your Region’s Contest Terms and Conditions for specific qualifications.
- Each respective Smart Commute office reserves the right to distribute prizes, subject to change without notice.
Note: Logging a bike trip on SmartCommute.ca automatically enters you into the Smart Commute Contest and winners may choose to opt out receiving the prize.

Working towards equity in active transportation requires ongoing engagement with equity-deserving communities to address barriers to participation. The session discusses how our positionality affects our experiences with active transportation, ways to engage equity-deserving groups at different budget levels as well as engagement with people with disabilities. The session will conclude with practical approaches for engaging equity-deserving communities in active transportation efforts.
